Over the last 11 years, All American Sales and Services (AASS) Inc. has been home to professionals with extraordinary skills, knowledge, and business value in the areas of CNC machine tools and parts. Backed by talented resources, AASS serves clients of all sizes from different industries, from mom and pop shops to Northrop Grumman, helping them maximize the efficiency and uptime of their CNC machines. Besides offering cutting-edge CNC machines that offer the speed, functionality, and robustness expected by today’s businesses, the company separates itself in the market by focusing on winning clients’ trust through customized sales and support services. “We have a service team that provides end-to-end service, from complete installation, application support on the shop floor, and quick response to service requests. We also train them on using and maintaining the machine at no additional cost. Generally, clients’ teams start using the machines efficiently within two hours of training by our application engineers,” says Tim Consalvi, president of the company.
Such qualities have propelled AASS to win the best Fadal dealer award in Southern California for four consecutive years. Buoyed by the success, the company has recently forayed into a venture in the form of an importer of products developed by Freedom CNC Machine Tool Co. AASS brings its personal touch to Freedom CNC machines, helping clients make full use of the vast feature set while ensuring machine uptime for its clients, at an affordable price.
Specifically, AASS offers Freedom M, a PC-based CNC machine that has one the fastest CNC controls built-in. The machine has standard features such as a direct-coupled motor to spindle arrangement, oil air lubricated spindles for cooling, chip augers, dual high-intensity lighting, and 25 horsepower spindle motor. Moreover, its line of horizontal machines ensures that chips are not being recut and are suitable for high production of extremely complex parts, unlike in vertical machines where the chips hamper the machining process.

“All of our machines are UL508A certified by SGS certification company,” says Consalvi. AASS’ next venture with Freedom CNC is to import two specific sized 5-axis integrated vertical machining centers. Also, the newly imported two, five-axis integral integrated machines with 320-millimeter and 650-millimeter pallets respectively have a unique way of lubricating the machines. The machines have an exclusively designed lubrication system that lubricates all three axes with grease packs, which is touted as the next big thing in the market. AASS’s unique grease pack lubrication not only reduces the cost of way lubricant but also reclaims it. To reduce the cost of standard, lubricant-type machines, the company has implemented grease pack lubrication and has achieved great reviews. One will have a 320-mm pallet with full 5-axis simultaneous capabilities, the other machine will have a 650-mm pallet with 5-axis again.
In a case study, one of AASS’ clients focused on hard metal machining required more accurate machines to compete with the standards. Outsourcing the job to different partners resulted in a failure rate as high as 70 percent, which had a significant impact on their deliverables. AASS brought this process in-house by providing two FMC 4020 machines with full four-axis and coolant through the spindle. Once the machines were installed, the accuracy increased exponentially to a 98 percent acceptance rate.
AASS is focusing on machine tool accessories, which can be either implemented on the new Freedom machine or can be retrofitted on an existing machine tool for its clients. The company is also exploring safety methods to support clean oil maintenance and renewable energy usage. For the future, AASS is looking forward to increasing its distribution network in the US as well as in Mexico and Canada.
