Nick Mercier, CEOFounded in 1975, Macy Industries has spent years in the research and development of various turnkey industrial and manufacturing solutions, involving metal, composite, and sheet fabrication, alongside its HVAC expertise. "We design, develop, and manufacture our dust collection system's components in-house, ensuring that our clients receive the best quality of air filtration products," adds Nick Mercier, CEO of Macy Industries. According to Mercier, while transferring air from one location to another is quite static, the efficiencies of conducting the process—be it makeup air or ductwork systems—have been revolutionized via modern HVAC and sheet metal fabrication technologies. The company's four and a half decade's worth of experience in this industry complements its ability to adopt the latest innovations in filtration and manufacturing to provide customers with next-level HVAC solutions.

To further elucidate on the company's HVAC efficiencies, Mercier shares a case study of their collaboration with Ruger Firearms. Macy Industries designed and installed a dust collection system for the customer's computer numerical control (CNC) machining operation of wooden components. The solution, connected to 45 separate mill centers, included a variable frequency drive (VFD) to manage every cubic foot per minute (CFM) of dust collected. This measurement helped Macy Industries keep an accurate track of the number of wood chips the system cleaned, and also include safety stops to prevent explosions or fire risks, under the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) guidelines.
Moving forward, the company intends to implement a new program, where a team of dedicated, qualified field technicians is onsite and available for customers to clarify any occurring discrepancies while conducting timely maintenance of their HVAC systems. Macy Industries also caters to the food and beverage industry with its highly efficient grease ducts for kitchens, a specialty of the company that helps collect dust for food processing and manufacturing organizations. With such intuitive services at play, Macy Industries truly understands its customers and ensures to continually overhaul its range of offerings consistently and serve them better—with refreshing, cleaner air.
