Going the extra mile, Mettis Aerospace performs all operations through robust management systems and rigorous planning in order to deliver at the rates that are well afforded by customers. The excellent team of Mettis Aerospace likes to work as partners with both customers and suppliers to develop the very best solutions, deliver them on time, to cost and to exacting standards. Considering the research and development aspect, the company is remarkably investing in research and development as well as listening to the customers and working with them to develop new solutions for existing or upcoming challenges. For instance, Mettis Aerospace recently introduced a water-jet cutting facility that increases the speed at which some components can move between the forging and machining stages. Another recent investment is a robotic, contour-welding facility that enables the team to accommodate certain last-minute design changes to dies, thus reducing customers’ development costs and ramping up the delivery process.
While enjoying the immense response from customers around the world, the company is marching ahead and forging the future today with its dedicated NPI facility. For the days ahead, Mettis Aerospace already has over thirty new products in the pipeline and designing solutions both in response to fresh customer challenges and in anticipation of what the market will need.
