FREMONT, CA: AVEVA, a global leader in industrial software that drives digital transformation and sustainability, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tecnimont, an EPC contractor and subsidiary of the Maire Tecnimont Group, a global leader in the natural resource processing industry, to develop new digital predictive and prescriptive maintenance services.

This collaboration would expand the Maire Tecnimont Group’s use of AVEVA’s Asset Performance Management (APM) solutions globally, improving plant operability and lowering maintenance costs. As a result, more information would be available, allowing for faster, more informed decision-making and, eventually, improved overall business results. As part of the deal, the two organizations will collaborate on a series of customer initiatives over the course of a year to facilitate the use of predictive maintenance technology for sensitive plant properties.
Maire Tecnimont will use its specific process, automation, and maintenance competencies as an EPC contractor and global pioneer in transforming natural resources to provide plant owners with perfectly personalized digital products and solutions tailored to their maintenance needs. Improved analytics will be delivered due to the combination of Maire Tecnimont’s established business expertise and AVEVA’s leadership as an industrial technology provider, which will help minimize inefficiencies, maximize processes, and boost customers’ profitability.
