AVXs TCQ Series capacitors have a compact and robust form factor that is ideally suited for space-constrained, harsh-environment applications comprising body electronics, cabin controls, comfort and infotainment systems, aftermarket automotive electronics, DC/DC converters, and coupling/decoupling. They are armed with conductive polymer electrodes that allow a benign failure mode under recommended use conditions. The series has also been widened to include 36 new part numbers covering a newly extended range of capacitance and voltage ratings.
TCQ Series Automotive Conductive Polymer Chip Capacitors show low DC leakage, better capacitance, and stable electrical performance in temperatures extending from -55°C to +125°C. They satisfy AEC-Q200 humidity bias testing needs due to materials, design, and manufacturing advancements AVX deployed to overcome the limitations of polymer materials and offer endurance and stability for 2,000 hours at 125°C, exceeding the stringent AEC-Q200 operational life requirement by 100 percent.
The newly expanded range of TCQ Series Automotive Conductive Polymer Chip Capacitors provides solutions for space-constrained, harsh-environment in the automotive, industrial, and telecom industries than the initial market release and has undergone wide testing to verify that it meets or, in terms of operational lifetime, exceeds AEC-Q200 stress test qualifications. TCQ Series capacitors have a design with superior resistance to humidity and enhanced reliability, are qualified to AEC-Q200, and offer field-proven performance in various demanding application areas. Parts are supplied with tin terminations on 7 or 13 reels, and the standard lead-time is approximately 20 weeks.
