FREMONT, CA: Brown Machine Group (BMG) recently announced the introduction of the BMG Advanced Digital Readiness (BMG ADR) platform, a web and app-based portal for accessing critical process data in thermoforming and product handling applications. Accessible both for new installations and as a retrofit with most BMG devices over the past few decades, ADR allows technicians, support staff, working teams, and executive management to communicate with equipment safely and in a real-time manner.

“This year’s pandemic has emphasized just how important building smart equipment and enhancing our remote service offering is. Although we were headed down the path to smart equipment prior to the pandemic, it accelerated our plans as customers need this technology; those who truly embrace and champion it will be more successful. Exploiting every opportunity for advantage is key in today’s uncertain environment and we’ve got a product that can assist in multiple ways, starting the payback cycle immediately,” said John Block, Vice President of Purchasing & Customer Service, BMG

The new BMG ADR software is fully flexible to suit specific consumer needs, with unrestricted personalized text or email warnings for a wide variety of potential warning situations. By modifying the ADR tool to meet their particular requirements, users may review how vital assets are working, analyze unplanned downtime, and optimize operations by alerts when user-defined criteria are out of control.

The BMG ADRTM platform, accessed from anywhere through a web browser or proprietary app, features improved security with automated upgrades and enables customer-defined wireless access to remote service sessions. Dedicated employees at Brown Machine Community will be available to offer training and assistance, allowing consumers to make the most of the platform’s instant reviews, customizability, and constant monitoring capabilities. The network, built on the validated development solution of ei3, is the first of its kind in the BMG markets and heralds a new age of safe networking and IIoT-based knowledge to ensure optimum uptime and performance.
