Natural-draft cooling

Hot air at the top of the cooling tower must be denser than the outside air for the system to work. Power stations and natural gas plants use these cooling systems frequently. Mechanical draft cooling
Mechanical draft cooling uses evaporation to cool industrial water. Hot water from a condenser or other device is sprayed over horizontal slats or PVC fill-packs. This cooling system is mechanical because it uses power-driven fans. Mechanical draft cooling systems are found in major industrial complexes. Rooftop units are smaller. Packaged versus field-erected
