Eissmann Group Automotive completes its global acquisition of Minda KTSN Plastic Solutions

FREMONT, CA : With the deal to take over Minda KTSN Plastic Solutions Mexico, Eissmann Group Automotive completes its global acquisition of Minda KTSN Plastic Solutions. This comes after Minda KTSN Plastic Solutions GmbH & Co. KG in Germany and Poland was successfully acquired in March.

The newly acquired Mexican facility in Querétaro employs approximately 130 people. It is located in the automotive center northwest of Mexico City, home to numerous multinational vehicle manufacturers such as BMW, Mercedes, General Motors, Mazda, and Honda.

KTSN is a popular automotive supplier in the field of injection molding and kinematics. Gloveboxes, seat back panels, cup holders, and other automotive plastic components are among KTSN's offerings.

Eissmann is well-positioned to bring wholly new and advanced solutions to the automotive interior's market by combining KTSN's fields of expertise with those acquired through the latest acquisition of in-gineersCaR GmbH, a developer of custom embedded electronic control systems, and Eissmann's expertise in premium interior surfaces.

With the acquisition of the Mexican site in Querétaro, Eissmann is now represented by two locations in Mexico. Jay Deis, President of North America, said of the purchase, "by bundling the technologies from the two sites, Eissmann is positioned in Mexico to realize all value-added processes in-house for its customers - from injection molding to the finished assemblies, fully vertically integrated." This will give Eissmann an even broader base in the North American market.

The Eissmann Group is repositioning itself as a tech integrator, making it an even more efficient partner for automotive customers. Eissmann, as a true outside-the-box thinker, doesn't just follow trends. It develops them and transforms complex challenges into genuine happiness.

Eissmann Group Automotive has expanded its expertise in the field of laminated leather for high-quality interior automotive components and refined its development and industrialization processes, with 15 locations on three continents, 5,000 workers worldwide, and a revenue of 470 million. In addition, as a system supplier and expert in mobile living spaces, the company collaborates with practically every well-known automotive manufacturer and supplier.
