Kassow's range of five 7-axis cobots provides a one-of-a-kind combination of speed, power, and reach.
FREMONT, CA: Robots provide the precision and consistency necessary for your project's success. A robot will follow exact protocols and pre-defined workflows with minimal variance, creating ideal conditions for research or analysis. Kassow Robots, a developer of 7-axis cobots for machine tending, material handling, and other applications, exhibits for the first time at Automate. Automate is the largest solutions-based showcase of automation, robotics, vision, motion control, and more in North America, taking place June 6"9, in Detroit, Michigan, USA.

Kassow's KR series of seven-axis cobots combines speed and power with an extensive reach and significantly high flexibility to work in a tight and tricky location. Customers can automate a range of physically demanding and repetitive jobs using these machines, which handle payloads up to 18 kg and reach 1800 mm. Regardless of the access angle, the seventh axis enables continuous dispensing, welding, and material removal activities without rotating the arm. Machine tending, pick-and-place activities, quality inspection, and palletizing are among the best applications for the cobots.
The cobots do not require in-depth programming skills, allowing small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) without robotics specialists to automate and program more cost-effectively and independently. When combined with easy programming techniques, Cobot capabilities may enable customers and integrators to conduct complicated automation tasks in machine tending, material handling, general automation, and related applications rapidly and cost-effectively.
Kassow Robots made its debut public appearance in 2018, and Bosch Rexroth became the company's primary owner in late April 2022. Kristian Kassow, the company's founder, is now a co-owner and continues to lead Kassow Robots as CEO.
