FREMONT, CA: Metso Outotec is launching its broad range of dependable and efficient filtration solutions for the industrial sector targeting, for instance, chemical manufacturing, industrial minerals, rubber and plastic, food and pharmaceutical, and various forms of bioprocess industries. Metso Outotec offers a filtration technologies portfolio for the mining industry in addition to the industrial sector.

"We are excited to introduce our extended filtration solutions offering specifically for the industrial segment. Our filters have been designed to meet the challenging requirements in a variety of process industries. To date, we have delivered more than 2,300 filters for a wide range of demanding industrial solutions outside the mining industry. This has helped us accumulate a vast knowledge base of the special needs and solutions required in industrial filtration applications," says Mika Vuorikari, Director, Industrial Filters at Metso Outotec.
The industrial section of Metso Outotec's portfolio contains numerous models in different capacities, all of which are configured for easy maintenance and reliable performance under various process conditions. For specified filters and related services, Metso Outotec uses the well-known Larox® brand, of which it is the sole owner.
Metso Outotec filtration solutions, which are part of the newly introduced Metso Outotec Planet Positive offering, have a sustainable design as a core feature to boost environmental performance through energy, emissions, and water efficiency. They also meet the highest safety requirements, are simple to operate and manage, and provide highly automated features for innovative process optimization and remote support.

Metso Outotec's filtration expertise is backed by the company's globally unique Dewatering Technology Center (DTC) in Lappeenranta, Finland, which has more than a century of filtration, R&D, and process experience. The DTC is an essential part of Metso Outotec's filtration solution development and serves as a focal point for close university collaboration on separation technology research. Metso Outotec has conducted over 14,000 filtration tests, and over 5,000 filters have been shipped to customers all over the world.
