The New NEC FC Series provides LED customers with a durable, high-end solution for high-traffic areas and public spaces by including improved durability, performance, and energy consumption characteristics.
FREMONT, CA: LED displays can offer higher contrast ratios than projectors and are, therefore, an alternative to conventional projection screens; they can also be used to create enormous, seamless video walls (without a visible grid resulting from the bezels of individual monitors). Sharp NEC Display Solutions, a global leader in the projector and display markets, has developed the NEC FC Series, the next generation of its Direct View LED displays. Sharp/new NEC's Direct View LED displays utilize the latest flip-chip technology to give incomparable contrast and brightness to its digital signage clients in retail, transportation, museums, and other public spaces.

Utilizing the most recent COB (flip chip) Multi-Color LEDs instead of the conventional SMD, the NEC FC series' sturdy construction allows the screen to endure harm by being anti-collision, anti-electrostatic, anti-water drop, and dustproof. COB technology enables the displays to provide dependable and spectacular imagery for demanding locations while considerably reducing the likelihood of damage in high-traffic areas where various situations can affect video wall performance. Additionally, the COB flip chip reduces power consumption and increases usage time, making it an intelligent investment for businesses and organizations.
The FC series offers the highest achievable display resolution for near viewing distances, with three versions (LED-FC0121i, LED-FC015i, and LED-FC009i) with a range of narrow pixel pitches (0.95mm, 1.2mm, and 1.5mm).
The NEC FC series is 20 percent lighter than its predecessors and includes the same chassis and components as the FA/FE series, compared to other competitor displays. Other notable characteristics include its front-serviceable design, which reduces downtime by facilitating easy access and speedy repair. In addition, it provides pixel cards that may be swapped without powering down the display. This gives existing installers familiarity and simplicity, facilitating seamless installation and lengthens product run times.
Like all of Sharp/digital NEC's display devices, the NEC FC Series is supported by an industry-leading warranty program and includes comprehensive planning and design, installation, and post-installation maintenance support.
