Christina Alenvret, Head of REAC DivisionREAC began its journey in the 1900s while it ventured into the manufacturing segment in the early 1930s. However, the company started developing motion systems for the medical and rehabilitation market in the 1990s, with its RE25 Actuator being the first product in the segment. Ever since REAC has grown into a specialized actuator company. Over the years, REAC has consistently addressed the needs of individuals who use mobility systems with the vision to bring their lives back to normalcy. And the company has been able to make that possible with the efforts of its engineering team that quickly adapts to the customers’ requirements. The company also has an in-house manufacturing unit, which is equipped well with all the required equipment. Its high-grade infrastructure coupled with the team’s extensive experience and knowledge makes REAC stay ahead of others in the market.
Beyond offering its standard portfolio of motion systems, REAC also customizes its products in instances where its existing offerings do not satisfy its clients’ needs. In such cases, the team analyses the customers’ needs and accordingly customizes its current products. Likewise, one of REAC’s customers required a solution that none of its standard products could be used in place of. The client required a more durable and innovative solution with an attractive design. To fulfil their need, REAC used its skills and industry experience to develop several concepts, one of which was appreciated by the client organization. After that, the team at REAC, along with the client’s engineers, was appointed to do the final design to make sure the product was well integrated to fulfil all demands. “The final product was very well received in the market. It has even been awarded as one of the best products on the market,” adds Christina.![]()

Another factor that differentiates the company is that it stays abreast with the changing needs of its customers and upgrades the products to keep up. There is a growing demand for smart AI systems and IoT, something the company is exploring in finding new solutions to meet market needs. This ability to go the extra mile to deliver what its clients need makes REAC a preferred partner for many. “We collaborate closely with our customers and always aim for a better solution to meet the demands of tomorrow,” Christina.
REAC manages everything effectively, right from conceptualizing a product to preparing the design and thereafter manufacturing it. In each of its projects, the team ensures to deliver motions systems suitable for a productive and active lifestyle. To make that happen most efficiently, the company has expanded its manufacturing capabilities by opening new production plants. Having invested significantly in advanced equipment to make its manufacturing facilities more efficient continuously, REAC is taking all the right steps to continue being a reliable partner for those seeking to source actuators and motion systems.
