Liang mentions about a customer, a significant player in the food equipment industry. They required an alternative gearmotor to meet a demanding challenge for a conveyor oven, calling for a wide speed range, closed loop feedback, and a high level of dependability at a reduced overall cost of ownership. Telco worked with the customer’s engineering team to make the necessary improvements and came up with a backward compatible BLDC package that improved competitor’s bronze sleeve bearing with ball bearings providing the customer extended component life and durability while reducing the cost.
