Ivan Koh, Sales & Marketing Director and Ivan Khoo, Managing DirectorIn one fell swoop, TQC Precision Engineering – with its current strength of approximately 100 various types of expertise – address all the machining needs of businesses with affordable pricing, on-time delivery, and other value-added services. The company offers high-tech precision machined parts, machine design, assembly and testing, quality control, and finishing processes that meet product specifications, as well as cleanroom class 10,000 (upgradable to class 100) suitable for semiconductor and medical industries – all under one roof. “We provide all kinds of precision machining, from high precision CNC 3 axes to 5 axes machine centers and CNC EDM/Wire-cut technology,” says Ivan Khoo, Managing Director of TQC Precision Engineering.
Founded in 2005 as a manufacturing solution and service provider for the semiconductor, medical equipment, sensor and optical industries, TQC today provides around 80 percent of precision machining processes in Singapore. The company also has significant businesses in USA, Malaysia, The Philippine, Vietnam, and China.
TQC’s most complex machine operations for producing parts are completed entirely in-house – from processing raw materials to quality-checked finished products. The company’s majority of precision engineering solutions involve CNC machining capabilities.
Furthermore, with the adoption of ERP, TQC is able to integrate planning, purchasing, inventory, sales, marketing, finance, human resources, and any other processes that organizations need to run to meet their precision machined parts requirements – all under a single system. On a more specific note, TQC is equipped with software systems like Navision, MES, Mastercam, and Solidworks to streamline the precision machined parts manufacturing process.
Going forward, TQC plans to augment product testing and analysis with heightened precision machining across industries that require high-precision technology for machine-based product testing, for instance, the medical field. TQC also aims to incorporate AI, ML, deep learning, and camera vision systems into the machines. Not only will this enhance the machines’ product testing capabilities, but also train them to recognize certain patterns and decide upon particular factors prior to starting the testing, inspection and analysis processes. “We are setting a new direction in doing more than just precision engineering, which is machine design and product development,” concludes Koh.
